About the Lord’s Supper

Communion is offered at the following services:

Sun 8:00 AM (1st and 3rd Sunday)
Sun 10:45AM (2nd and 4th Sunday)

The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at this congregation in the confession and glad confidence that, as Jesus says, our Lord gives into our mouths not only bread and wine but His very body and blood to eat and to drink for the forgiveness of sins and to strengthen our union with Him and with one another. Jesus invites to His table those who trust in His words, repent of all sin, forgives others as He forgives us and love as He loves us.Because those who eat and drink our Lord’s body and blood unworthily do so to their great harm, and because Holy Communion is a confession of the faith which is confessed at this altar, any who are not yet instructed, in doubt, or who hold a confession differing from that of this congregation (Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod) are asked to first speak with one of our Pastors or ushers about membership classes.

We ask that you reflect on the following and fill out the card provided in your pew for Communion Registration:

Being a communicant member in good standing of a LCMS congregation:

□ I have examined myself and repent of all sin.

□ I believe Jesus Christ is my only Lord and Savior from all sin, Satan, and death.

□ I believe that Christ is truly present in the Sacrament.

□ I believe that with the bread and wine I receive His true Body and Blood.

□ I believe the forgiveness of sins is given in the Sacrament.

□ I resolve to dedicate my life to my Lord and Savior by regular worship and devoted Christian service and living.
